I'm going back and forth with an owner in my league (12 teams, PPR, 3WR, 2 RB, 4 pt pass TD, 6 points all others) that has Evans.
I'm looking to buy Evans for cheap.
I initiated the trade for a one-to-one Toomer for Evans. He declined and offered Julius Jones, Evans and Tatum Bell for my McGahee and Toomer. I told him no to that quoting that I deeply prefer feature backs over anybody that shares time.
Then I messaged him I would consider either Berrian or Boldin for Evans. He wants Boldin. Is it worth it?
I looked at Evan's schedule and the next couple teams want me to say Evan's will have great matchups and may have great games. I also miss drafted and week 6 and week 8 will hurt me with Byes, Boldin is week 8 bye and I'll be hurting in WR's.
My team includes: QB: Rothlesberger, Garica WR: T.O., Boldin, Berrian, Stallworth, Toomer RB: Addai, McGahee, Keith(handcuff), Morency(hoping he'll play soon!) TE: Vernon Davis, and just picked up Greg Olsen (dropped Norwood, RB, to do so) And I carry one kicker and one defense.
Plus, even though many in my league think of my team as the most superior team, I've had unlucky matchups and sit 1-2 with the 3rd most scored points in the league, so I have to minimize risk of losing weeks.

I wouldn't do a Boldin for Evans trade, not even close you would be down grading at receiver. It doesn't matter that Evans is going up againts easy opponents in the coming weeks if he don't have a quaterback to throw him the ball. I would insist that he take Berrian, Stallworth or toomer. Better yet I would try and scower the waiver wire and see what's available there. Evans would be nice to have but not for Boldin, but it is your team and you will have the final say. I understand that you are 1-2 but it's better than 0-3 like me, Brees, McAllister and Jackson have let me down but you cannot panic that other owner knows you are in need and wants to pawn off a less than average receiver(this year) for a receiver who leads the NFC in receptions.
Good Luck
