I was lucky to get the #1 pick (12 team league), but it left me in a bad spot since I didn't secure a 2nd starting RB. I took Brees and Johnson with my 2nd and 3rd picks. Max RB's = 3 & max WR's = 4. I have LT, Adrian Peterson (Minn) and DeAngelo Williams. On the waiver wire are Norwood, Tatum Bell and Foster. Should I hold onto Williams and start him or take Bell (drop Williams) since he may be the starter for the opening of the season? I can start 2 RB's and 2 WR's with 1 flex RB/WR. My 4 WR's are Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, Mark Clayton and DJ Hackett. I was thinking of going with LT and Bell with Chad Johnson, Roy Williams and DJ Hackett as my 5 starters. Not sure if Clayton will be ready as he has a high ankle sprain. And will Peterson get enough carries to be my 2nd back. Next time I will take a 2nd back if I have the 1st pick (Thomas Jones was still available). Your thoughts?

I actually like Williams and Peterson and you should be okay with them. If you feel that you want to pick up one of the backs in waivers then I would take a flyer with Norwood or Bell, it really comes down to choice and who you like. make sure that you read up on the available guys to see if they have any injuries or what's thier status on thier teams. Good Luck

I think your analysis is sound. Norwood will have more long term value (i.e., later in the season), I think, than Bell.

With the 2 & 2 plus a flex, I would go with the 3 WR's you selected. Does your scoring system give you points per catch?? I would definitely evaluate the free agents and select one that will be the featured back and not split duty. To use a waiver on a part time RB may or may not be worth it. Keep close tabs on local sports online newspapers for coaching decisions each week.
