I've been offered...
David Garrard, QB & Marty Booker, WR
FOR
LaMont Jordan, RB & Phillip Rivers, QB
My Team: current lineup for week 2
QB Peyton Manning WR Drew Carter WR Donte Stallworth (gut feeling start for this week) WR Kevin Curtis RB Willis MaGahee RB Marshwan Lynch TE LJ Smith K Jonh Kasay DEF Green Bay
Bench
QB Phillips Rivers (i've had him on trading block) WR Jacoby Jones WR Troy Williamson RB Lamont Jordan TE Owens Daniels (also on trading block) DEF Miami (also on trading block)
If i give up Lamont that would leave me without a backup RB (i'm already weak there and shouldn't risk it), Rivers i couldn't care for less (i can find a backup for peyton's bye on waivers and still feel good about that position), I feel good about my receivers, and Booker doesn't look good cuz Trent Green and the Miami O-line are stoopid badd which would make it hard to get him the ball,Garrard looked solid to me but again... i got Peyton!
So it sounds like a no-brainer, but wanted to see if anyone saw a reason for taking this trade that i'm missing... Appreciate any comments...

I think you have answered your own question and in this case I would follow my gut feeling. This offer is not something that you should loose any sleep over, so no don't do the trade, that's my opinion based on the same facts you gave for not wanting to do the trade.
Good Luck

Look at it this way:
Rivers to Garrard. (down grade for you) Jordan to Booker (down grade for you)
Equals no trade
You have great leverage with Rivers at QB. You need to upgrade in other areas. Booker is not that much better than Jacoby Jones or Williamson. You need a solid WR in return or a top notch TE. LJ is hurting and Daniels is TD or nothing.

Any time you move a starting RB you should be getting a significant amount of value in return.
booker is not enough

definately been rejected... a no brainer. I still like to post these questions cuz all you fellaz add extra bits of info in your replies that i find to be incredibly useful... I had ignored my TE situation in this league, and like shoeless mentioned i should be lookin for an upgrade there... Again, good lookin out fellaz...
